Gisty Mariam Thomas
Gisty Mariam Thomas works as an English Teacher in a CBSC school. She also dabbles in Clinical Psychology in that school as she has to work with students having learning disabilities. She has been keen on counselling them but lacked confidence in implementing the type of activities suitable for kids with learning disabilities. To gain more knowledge on learning disabilities, she decided to take up an online course on Special Education.Before doing the course, she found it difficult to manage kids with learning disabilities or choose any activities for them. The course gave her an idea about the kind of activities suitable for kids with learning disabilities and helped her to gain more knowledge about learning disabilities.
Her journey with the entire team of ACT throughout the course has been quite fulfilling and fruitful for her career in the long run.
