Overview
Asian College of Teachers, in collaboration with the DeepRanjini Foundation in Kolkata, is offering 8 hours of Live Observation Sessions. These sessions provide ACT students with the opportunity to observe activities of children with special needs. Following the observations, RCI registered trainers will conduct webinars to discuss the topics related to the prior observation session. Additionally, participants will undertake a case study, which will be evaluated by RCI registered trainers. Dr. Amrita Panda will serve as the lead trainer for these sessions. The entire program spans 4 days, with each session lasting 2 hours, along with an additional 2-hour case study and evaluation, totaling 10 hours of comprehensive learning.

Trainer Profile
Dr. Amrita Panda holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Cognitive Psychology & Rehabilitation from the University of Calcutta and is a registered Rehabilitation Psychologist with over 15 years of diverse experience. Her expertise spans research, clinical practice, teaching, and administration, with a focus on individuals with special needs, particularly Autism. Over the past 5 years, she has specialized in areas such as Parental Training & Counseling, Adolescence & Sex Education Training, Trauma Care, Stress Management, Chronic Disease Management, and Personality Development. As the head of an institution serving 220 individuals with Autism in Eastern India, she has pioneered the use of music as a therapeutic tool in psychological rehabilitation. Dr. Panda's research interests revolve around Experimental Cognitive Psychology, with a focus on designing Psychometric Assessment Tools and Data Analytics. She is currently the founder of DeepRanjani Foundation, a supported workplace that provides vocational skill-building training and employment opportunities for adults with intellectual special needs.

Ms. Smita Tripathi
Smita holds an M.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Madras and PG Diploma in Special Education: Multiple Disabilities & Neurological Disorder from The Spastic Society of India, Mumbai University. Presently she is a Consultant and Speaker at various platforms of special education. She conducts webinars and trains parents, teachers, and special educators and also conducts Inclusive set- up enabler programs and training. Earlier she was associated with Vibgyor Group of Schools - Vibgyor Roots and Rise, Malad (West) formulating and executing IEP (Individual Education Program), conducting parent meetings, suggesting strategies, and conducting workshops for teachers and students. She also worked as a Special Educator/NIOS teacher at Goenka & Associates Educational Trust, Goregoan (East), Child Reach, Santacruz (W), Drishti, Andheri (West), and Swami Vivekanand International School, Borivali (West).
